This series is a tribute to Hypatia, the great philosopher, mathematician and astronomer born in Alexandria, Egypt, in the IV century A.D. Hypatia was one of the great minds of Antiquity and is among those who opened the channels of knowledge that led humanity to trace the elliptical orbits of the planets, to investigate the precession of the equinoxes and many of the mysteries in which the universe is still shrouded. The Ipazia series is based on the ellipse and its form is complex in its development. It is in fact composed of three concentric ellipses which, connected together, produce a unique element made of variable-section spatial curves.
