Stefano Mango lives and works in Naples where he earned his degree in Architecture in 1986 with a thesis titled “A sailboat for offshore regattas. Design of a prototype made of composite materials”.

Following in the footsteps of his father Roberto, who was a key figure in the rise and development of Industrial Design in Italy, in 1993 he founded his own firm with Filippo and Volpe, continuing his research into materials and new technologies.

His genuine love for the sea has always fuelled his interest in sailing, and in 1995 he began his collaboration with Cantiere Gagliotta on the “Bajos 7.5” project.
