Barbara Lambrecht lives and works in Naples. She was born in Milan and spent her childhood between that city and Vienna. As an adolescent she moved with her family to Naples where she still lives today. She graduated in Political Science from the Istituto Universitario Orientale and works as an interpreter and translator of prose and poetry. Her interest in the figurative and applied arts, and in design in particular, led her in 2012 to develop BARLUMI, a project created jointly with artist Michele Iodice who, since January 2018, has entrusted her with the continuity of the creative process and the full realization of new crafting processes. Over the past year she has enriched her production with Barlumi, presenting a wide range of colours and styles with the contribution of textile designer Allegra Hicks.
