This object, made in marble, wood and resin, was conceived to serve as a fruit bowl, but can also cut a fine figure as a metaphysical object in any context. It has no bottom and its proportions, as well as the incline of its surfaces, are studied to fit fruit of various sizes which, leaning against the edges, do not touch the tabletop.<\/p>\n
DIMENSIONS<\/strong> This series is a tribute to Hypatia, the great philosopher, mathematician and astronomer born in Alexandria, Egypt, in the IV century A.D. Hypatia was one of the great minds of Antiquity and is among those who opened the channels of knowledge that led humanity to trace the elliptical orbits of the planets, to investigate the precession of the equinoxes and many of the mysteries in which the universe is still shrouded. The Ipazia series is based on the ellipse and its form is complex in its development.
